MTSU Campus Crimes:  February 2020

Theft of property is the most prevalent reported criminal violation on MTSU's campus this month, with six separate incidents occurring through February 26.

This is a 50% increase over January's four reported campus thefts.  Most notable are three thefts that occurred at the Recreation Center within 24 hours on February 25 and 26.  In each of those incidents, cash was stolen from individuals' wallets.

Other campus crimes reported in February include possession of marijuana, sexual battery, and a domestic violence incident that resulted in the arrest of a male and a female.
